How to use incubator to hatch eggs?
First of all, choose a suitable incubator (hatching machine) according to the type and number of eggs to be incubated. There are usually Household incubator and Industrial incubator for customers to choose from.
Household Incubators: It has small volume, light weight, simple operation and single function. Compared with the industrial incubator, it has a small capacity. So it is suitable for families or small farms.
Industrial Incubators: It has large volume and more complete functions. It is usually equipped with various sensors and computer control system. It can hold more eggs and suitable for large farms.
After receiving the hatching machine, many people want to install it and start it for use as soon as possible, which will result in a very low incubation rate. After the new egg incubator is received, it must be tested in accordance with the instructions. The test machine can only be put into use after the test machine is normal.
Selection of breeding eggs
The screening of breeding eggs is particularly important, which will be related to the hatchability. Breeding eggs that are too large, too small, round, and sharp at the top and bottom must be removed. Such eggs are deformed eggs and have a low hatching rate. We should to choose a kind of egg with moderate size, and normal shape.
Breeding eggs should be fresh eggs that are about 3-7 days old. Especially the summer time must not be too long, the longer the time, the more it will affect the hatching rate. Eggs for long-distance transportation need to be left standing at the bottom for 24 hours before hatching. The storage temperature of breeding eggs is 13-18 degrees.
Disinfection of breeding eggs
Potassium permanganate and warm water can be selected for disinfection, with a ratio of 1:1000. Soak the eggs in a warm water basin mixed with potassium permanganate for 50 seconds for disinfection, then take them out and dry them naturally, and finally put them into the incubator.
After the test machine temperature and humidity are normal, you can put the hatching eggs with the big end up into the egg tray (egg tray machine) for incubation;
Turn on the egg turning switch, pay attention to the temperature and humidity during incubation, do not open the door of the machine without special circumstances.
On the seventh day of incubation, check the eggs with an egg candler. With the bloodshot is the fertilized egg, the translucent are infertile eggs, these eggs should be removed.
Egg place on the tray
When the eggs are placed on the tray after 18 days of incubation, stop turning the eggs and turn the breeding eggs on the tray into the hatcher basket. Spray water on the breeding eggs in the last three days, spray warm water of about 40 degrees according to the humidity 4-6 times a day, and increase or decrease the number of sprays according to the situation of the hatching. Spray water to increase the humidity and soften the eggshell, so that the chicks will hatching more easily.
Hatching and brooding
After the chicks are shelled, they can be taken out when the feathers are dry. Pay attention to keep the chicks warm. The brood temperature is 30-35 degrees, which can be adjusted to the most suitable temperature according to the observation of chicks. Drink some warm water 24 hours after shelling, and then feed small feed.
